OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

The DBCS aims at providing a broad educational experience, which implies that numerous learning activities take place outside the narrow confines of the classroom. Participation in sport is compulsory. Learners are also encouraged to support other participants by attending and supporting performances and sports matches. Owing to the DBCS’s unique position as a “performing school”, the following rule applies:

• On enrolment at the DBCS, learners acknowledge that further time beyond normal school hours, owing to the specific activities of the DBCS, may be required during the course of the year. Thus, learners should at all times be up to date with their academic work, and ensure that they keep up with the pace of the academic, music and sport staff.
