Learners should understand that the DBCS could not function without rules that govern its organisation and learner behaviour. Learners undertake therefore to abide by the verbal and written rules of the School. Learners must undertake to honour the timetable of the DBCS by being present at the commencement of the school day and for each and every class/period until the end of the school day. Learners undertake to accept the authority of those in charge of order and discipline at the DBCS and will accept the applicable sanctions should the rules be broken. Learners undertake never to indulge in, or be tempted into, any behaviour, which could bring the name of the DBCS into disrepute, and always to act in accordance with the ethical principles contained in this Code of Honour.
