At the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir School, an academic programme comparable with the best of fellow independent South African schools is taught alongside music subjects and choir rehearsals. Supervised study for both the academic and music programmes takes place on a daily basis. An environment that is conducive to developing the full academic and music potential of the boys is the order of the day. It is this co-existence of academics and music that provides the Choir School with its unique and dynamic character. Thus an exceptional opportunity is available to multi-talented boys to benefit from a well-balanced educational programme and to excel in developing leadership potential.
The DBCS is registered with ISASA as an Independent School, based in the KwaZulu- Natal Province of South Africa.
